jdm headlight extra bulb hole?
just added a set of jdm honda headlights to my 00 civic after some moron ran into it. they look very nice paired with vis cf hood. question is about the extra bulb hole in the main housing. jdm civics have two bulbs-low and high in this housing? it seems to be in a strange place. i'm just running my std usdm bulbs for now. anyone else running jdm lights?
i think thats the city light hole
Dude you shouldn't have JDM lights then.

If there what I think your talking about, there city lights.
I wanted some JDM lights for my car when I hit a deer a few months back.
Coudn't find any though

make sure you buy 98+ prelude city/parking light sockets, they plug right in, all you gotta due is wire them up to you parking lights.
I have mine setup just like Japan civics, your USDM ornage parkign light is replaced with this lil socket for the city light hole wired up to the parking light circuit.
to do this you just cut the tire that lights up the parking light filament on the turn signal bulb, since its a dual filament.
then you take that wire run it to the postive of the city lights,( or you can hook these suckas up as a foglight circuit) then you just gotta ground the other prong in the city light socket. do the same for the other side.
so when your parking lights are on shoudl look like this, with no blinkers on....
(and your blinkers still blink when u want to communicate.)

yo could buy some S2000 side marker sockets and wire those to your corner lights if you don't have sockets already. they go for about $20 for both from your local honda dealer, i don't know how much the prelude ones are.

make sure to buy the brightest bulb possible too, the ones i used to have were really dim and only looked good on real low light or st duck, these brighter german ones i boguht from auto parts store were liek 3 times brighters, i think liek 21watts.
but they illuminate quite a bit for being iny lil side marker bulbs
