Does anyone know what is the extra light bulb in the headlight housing for? How do you hook it up?

the extra hole is for city lights, but i have one question is it true the jdm lights are made of plastic?

No they are made of glass. What are city lights?

No, they are made of plastic. Not cheap plastic though. The extra bulb is used as a courtesy light.

the only difference is that JDM is lighter, no nipples, and use a brighter type halogen bulb.

this is what i heard before too, so i'm just making sure, and city lights is just like having another parking light or whatever so theres two light bulbs in the headlight instead of one, alot of people drill holes in their headlights to add these lights but the jdm one has it already, usually people put like colored bulbs in there, and it's a brighter halogen bulb? the only halogen bulb i believe honda uses is the H3 which is what comes on projectors but the oem headlights uses H4 what bulb are you talking about?

jdm headlight 101

-jdm headlights do not have the annoying orange plastic inserrts that usdm light have.
-jdm lights have city lights or courtesy lights (whatever you want to call it) that light up the headlight.
-when yout turn on your headlights (1 click) usually your signals light up, with jdm's your city lights turn on.
-there is no cover over the headlight bulb (newer cars have a silver plastic cover) thats why they are brighter.
-your signals will no longer be on when your headlights are on.
-you will have to re-wire your lights. there are 2 black wires on the jdm harness. one is ground, on goes to the city lights.
-headlight wiring should be left intact.

exactly spnhb . . .do you or anyone know how to wire the corner parking lights so they turn on only when you want to make a left/right turn?

thats all they do. they only turn on when you signal.
