Turbo LSR needs traction
So I just got my LSR (LS body, GSR engine, ITR tranny) tuned. Making 331 WHP. I believe I have 16x7 wheels with what looks like generic tires (came with my car). I took my car for a test run and I had pretty much no traction at all. I was doing what seemed like burn outs while going 60+ MPH! Keep in mind I also have a light flywheel and ITR tranny so everything is just spinning FAST.
So here's what I'm thinking: If I go with something like 17x8 I should theoretically have more traction, correct?
Would 17x8 fit my Integra without the wheel rubbing? My car is lowered about an inch maybe 1.5"

a wider tire with good low tread wear will give you grip. the bigger the tire as in diameter it makes it slower on acceleration. so a 15x8 will give you a faster time than a 17x8 wheel.
also you will prob get rubbing with the 17's.

traction bar doesn't exactly do what you would think the name says. it just helps with wheel hop.
i think you would be fine with a 205 wide tire as long as it is a UHP summer tire. (bridgestone re-11, dunlop star spec, kumho xs, etc.)
