Best Turbo Choice for B20Z
Stock engine. I'm trying to decide between a 14B and a small 16G Mitsu turbo. I'd more than likely run 7 psi on the 16g and 9 on the 14b. My goal is to get supercharger style boost out of a turbo, but I'm not sure which turbo would be better for that. I'm not worried about HP goals, I'm more interested in instant torque, although, since I have a stock engine, I have to take the HP into account.
Any advice?

dont want to run out of breath though ^
i wouldnt go smaller than a 18g on a 2.0L for what you want
but personnally a 3582r garrett is what i would run on a 1.8L but im a straight line freak lol

With a 2.0L such as your B20 I would suggest going to a larger sized turbo than the two you had mentioned, being it will choke out very quickly at higher rpms. Have you looked into a properly sized T3/T4 turbo? You can still have a very responsive setup as well high horse power capability for future modifications later down the road.
I have had great success with a Turbonetics 5757 journal bearing turbo on stock internal engines such as yours and even smaller engines such as D16's with very fast spool times. Not to mention they are cost effective and have a 1 year warranty. Check it out on this link: Turbonetics T3/T4 57mm turbo

Both the 16g and 14g are too small for a B series motor. If you what a responsive turbo that will not run of of breath in the higher rpms but still do up to 300whp get a Garrett Super 60.

2k RPM for peak boost would be great, but I'm really looking to stay with Mitsubishi turbo's. The current pieces I have are all for a Mitsu turbo and I'm not wanting to redo my entire kit.
