Random CEL with a HX harness?

Random CEL with a HX harness?
Car is a 1998 Honda Civic EX with a OBD1 B18B1 swap.
Went through a few different engine harnesses before I came across a HX harness, which I used because it was non vtec. I repinned the primary O2 sensor at the ECU port and it worked perfect.
Except the CEL will occasionally come on. There is no pattern to it or anything, it will come on until I turn my car off then stay off until I drive it for a while. Seems like it hasn't been doing it as much lately. As far as I know there is no way to check a CEL while the car is on and moving, so does anyone have an idea of what this could be?
