**NEED HELP** 98 Honda Civic DX coupe
Looking to put a turbo on my 98 civic coupe dx. Everything is stock. My question is can I keep my a/c or do I have to get rid of it for the turbo to fit? I want to keep it a sleeper, not into the noisey mufflers. Can I run a turbo with a stock muffler? Whats the max psi I can run without doing damage 6-8psi? Any advice out there??? I live in Jaco Costa Rica, where its like 90 degrees and 80% humidity everyday, so I can't do without the a/c....TOO HOT!!!
Thanks

Depends on the turbo kit if you can keep ac. Most cast manifolds allow you to keep ac. Why would you keep the tiny stock exhaust. It will limit the power. The turbo would help alot to reduce the amount of noise from the exhaust. I know a guy with the down pipe coming out the hood and his is quieter than my NA with full exhaust Psi is irrelevant. A gt28 pushing 10 lbs might be safe while a gt35 pushing the same psi would be too much power for a stock d. HP is what you need to be setting your goals around not psi. I am not sure of what hp a stock d block can handle safely. I would think around 200-225whp.
