oil leak on my transmission
i have a 95 civic, and theres been some oil leaking on my transmission from somewhere, i went and had it fixed, spent alot of money and its still leaking i know you cant give an exact answer based on a picture but if you know anything please help me out.
O-ring, maybe Valve cover, most likely O-ring.
look at where your distributor meets the engine head. there SHOULD be a rubber ring between the two, however you may not be able to see if without removing the Diistriburor (careful not to spill oil). I just replaced mine two weeks ago because it was leaking ( all over my tranny ). I bought the ring for 1.99 at my local Honda dealership. Also check the valve cover bolts to see if they are loose.
after all that check your dipstick and add oil if need be.

It's hard to tell if your valve cover is leaking by just looking at those pics.
You should replace distributor o-ring first, then valve cover gasket if needed...valve covers like to leak around the corners if you dont use gasket sealer.
Have you taken ur valve cover off lately?
