Default stock-ish lsv and neptune

So I may be doing an all motor lsv for a friend and he is running my neptune setup till he can get his own. And before anyone asks why I'm letting him use mine, there is collateral involved.

But anyways, the bottom end is a stock setup, head has super tech valves, type r springs and retainers, stock Gsr cams at the moment, an edelbrock intake, a 70mm throttle, 1200cc injectors, and an aftermarket header and full exhaust. My question is what would be the typical duty cycle and timing setup that should be ran on this type of setup? Don't really want to take it to a tuner and get screwed on pricing. I figured I'd ask and see what a simple set of numbers everyone would run. Not too sure if atmospheric pressures or sea level is determined into this at all. But since I'm in tx, I figured I'd ask

1200cc on a stock setup? Duty cycle from a wild guess would be 20% at WOT. Way too big of injectors. You can use stock injectors on that setup.

Again stock timing would probably be fine with that simple stock setup

my stock lsv ran perfect on a gsr map with 1000cc injector, map made for the 1000's of course

on my 1000's map 38psi fp, full throttle in vtec 8900rpm was 30%

when i redid the map only adjusting for 1200 injector size i got 26%

why don't you just get in touch with a Neptune dealer to get a good idea of where to start? go to http://www.hrtuning.com/pages/category/dealers to find out where the closest Neptune dealer is to you.

I wold much rather run stock injectors with that setup... 1200cc is plain stupid, IMO. What pump? Stock injectors at 55-60psi base pressure will have a better spray pattern and should easily provide you with enough fuel. The idle is going to be tough to smooth out with the 1200's.

Your final timing values will ultimately be determined by the type of fuel being used and your CR, neither of which you have posted. -_-

bone stock ls bottom end, stockish gsr head thats been freshened up, the only thing really special is everything is new and the seats have been redone with supertech valves, and type r retainers and springs. car will be running on premium fuel.

i will also be running a walboro 255 pump. and the 1200's are all i have at the moment. not to mention a victor x intake with a 70mm throttle body. this was just a basic idea of what i should be expecting if i were to just log the numbers on my own while doing street pulls in a private area while testing.

if you know how to tune you should be able to easily get a good street tune no problem

what do you want to know
