Default Need help with my Rex

Got an 89 crx. Motor is a d15b7

Project car I got in a trade.
Car ran great for the first few test drives. Finally I drove it to get gas. On way home my battery light came on and my voltage gauge was maxed out at 18.
Car just shut off.

towed it home and looked.

Now I know I'm more n likely going to need a new alternator cause only thing I could think of is bad regulator

The verdict:
Blew fuses 31(power distribution)
And fuse 37(pgm-fi main relay)
Replaced fuse 31
But fuse 37 keeps popping every fuse I try.
Looked under dash and the yellow/ black wire going to main relay pin #7(fuel pump) is melted whole way up until it splits into 2 wires. Then from there the rest of wire looks fine.....

Now I haven't removed dash yet. But I believe these two wires are running to the pcm.

everything seems to be in working order other that the fuse keeps popping and the fuel pump will not come on...

I did some searching and found a few ideas but so far no luck.

somethings definitely grounding out. I don't know if its the pump, something behind dash.

I cannot find any other melted or damaged wires..

any ideas on where to look would be wonderful. I'm a noob to this site as well as a noob to hondas

Bad ground? Or loose wire? Check every wire.
