93 Honda civic ex coupe w/camber issues
Ok so I bought this car about a month ago and it came with a couple of issues. But the only one that really bothers me is the suspension. The guy told me to go get an alignment and get the toe adjusted because that's all they were gonna be able to do. Which was a load of BS. So I went to align it and the camber kit that is on it on the driver side shower the camber at -.1 but the passenger side was all out of wack. The passenger has a lot of negative. And the camber kits were adjusted all the way to the outside. The motor was swapped for a 99 civic motor. Which is the common b16 DOHC vtec. And now has Acura integra springs on it. It isn't lowered at all. Could the weight of the motor be the problem? Or could the hub knuckle from the spindle to the upper control arm be bent? Any suggestions? Please and thanks!
The guy did say the person that owned it before him raced it. He said it was in a wreck but it wasn't too bad. And the camber on the passenger side is now -4. And let me correct that the driver side is -2.2 for camber.
You bought a car that was wrecked, and you're now wondering why it has issues??
Post the alignment printout.
So if I what I am reading is correct, both sides are all the way out? Meaning, camber adjusted full positive.

I can't post the printout yet. Not a full member. And I'm just wondering what everyone's suggestions are. And yes the camber is full positive on both sides.

I could do that. But I realized what you just said, and I'm not trying to be a smartass or anything but I could tell you and show you the camber/alignment printouts and it would be the same thing. Lol. So should I look into getting new linkage from my upper control arm to my spindle?

No. The guy said that the caster was pretty well straight. And you can see that the strut tower is pretty well even with the middle of the tire. And another thing I noticed today was that the back of the knuckle on the passenger side is about 2 to 3 inches for the strut tower. But the driver side is about 6ish inches away? That pretty much means a bent knuckle, correct?
At this point, I would not trust that guy at all. What are the caster numbers from the alignment?
If there is a noticable diference in the where the knuckles are side to side, you most likely have found your issue.

Sorry I have been on in a while. I have been too busy from work. The caster numbers are listed above. And where can I buy knuckles from?
