Default Full-Race Outlaw Manifold & BW T67 Turbo Install issues

Will like the title says I just purchesed the Outlas Manifold from Full Race and the BW T67 Turbo with and running the Drag Intercooler. Tried mocking it all up and have some fitment issues. First the Turbo wants to sit on the Full race Traction Bar. Second the Intercooler is way to be for the space avalible and third the turbo sits so far forward I can not get the one piece front in to sit in is location. Its about 5" forward from where it needs to be and the Intercooler is hitting the bumper part of the hood. Soooo. What to do now. You dont know till you know right. Any suggestions.

Pretty sure you're supposed to cut the bumper to fit over the turbo on a forward facing setup.

Im aware off that if you can see in the picture thats what was done with the old set up but im not about to start chopping the hood up just to find some other issues why it will not work. The front of the turbo only has about 2" of surface which the hood would slide over still not going to make up for the 3" that is short. So dont think that will solve the problem here.

The only thing you can do is cut the inlet and outlet off, bring the intercooler towards the driver side and set the inlet on the bottom angle of then tank. Backdoor the outlet and as far as the manifold you need to shorten the runners...I would call full race and see what they say

Call full-race, they will take care of it. BTW, did you tell them it this was for a EF???

Yes several conversations with them about this. Pictures were sent and every thing. This is the first time this manifold would be installed onto an EF so its trial and error you could say.

Do you really expect a setup like this to all fit with out modification?? You will need to cut and trim the bumper to make room for the turbo and the intercooler end tank and inlet will need to be modified to work with that turbo positioning.

Yes but how do you suggest making the hood 5" longer. It almost seems better to see if the Top Mount would fit better. But I like the other idea call full race and see about shorting the runners maybe. Will see on Monday.Might even take the car to them.

I know there is going to be modifications its not my first day but its just not worth it on this set up. Its going to take a whole front end remodel to get this done and look like **** after it is done. How many imports do you see with an extra long front end it will not look right. I have talked to Full-Race and they no longer make customer manifolds but myself and Full-Race agree this is not the right manifold for the car. The positioning is just off. So it looks like we are going to go with the B-Series Twin Scroll Top Mount ProAM Turbo Manifold. The modifications for this should be more realistic than the Outlaw manifold.

It looks like the manifold was just laid out to fit in the 92-00 Civic/94-01 Chassis w/ ease. Going to that 88-91 Chassis your going to a shorter bay area...which puts the turbo further forward than needed.

Anyway, I'm sure FR will take care of you (as it seems as they already have)

Is the engine in the stock location? It looks rotated forward from that first picture. Could just be the angle of the picture.

Finally have the New Top Mount in and everything just about done. Here is a little update. The EF is really tight fit for anything. The intercooler clears one piece front end. Had to relocate the wastegates to the side to make extra room. The exhaust is shooting through the hood with a 4" Pipe with a 40 degree radius to clear the wastegates.

what did you end up doing with the front mount?
I was gonna buy the full-race one but i was afraid it was going to sit too far forward so i bought sheeepeys manifold instead. check them out.

its the mini outlaw manifold.

Well the car is mostly done now and ended up going witht the Top Mount Manifold. Here are some pictures. One thing i can say for sure craming this stuff into an EF is a pain in the butt. Please dont ask me whats wrong with the radiator not sure why it sags in the middle brand new.
