2000 civic a/c problem
ok well i just put a new belt on the a/c cause when it ran it had a screech, and so i changed it and all was well... was a little tight for some reason lol but the screech is gone. and now( same as before i repaired belt) the ac bogged down as i drove i drove it o auozone bu before i got there the bogging down stopped but ac hasnt got cold at all since it stopped bogging down... so i get out see that the belt is still attacked and running
and also i notice the idle does rise when i hit the ac button now so any help would be appreciated !

If the fan doesnt turn on then its a problem with the wiring. fuse, broken ground, cut wire etc...
Also the system could be low on pressure stopping the clutch from turning on.
You need a gauge to hook to the low side and find out the static pressure which should be close to 100psi. If its something like 20-30 then there isnt enough in the system to run.

alright well i found a blown fuse in the fuse box under the hood and the a/c engages now but the fan doesnt kick on when the ac engages so what should i try next p.s all my grounds are good
You can also hook up the fan to a power source and see if it turns on at all. Might be the fan itself is bad. Just a suggestion. That is what I do normally. Take out as many variables as possible to track down the problem.
Jump power and ground to the fan. If it turns on then you proably have a bad relay. If it doesnt turn on you need a new fan.
You can get an oem replacment on ebay for $45shipped.
I got one a few weeks ago because my slim fan wasnt cutting it.
