Can you afford to take it to an auto electric biz? I bought a 98 accord with 3rd party fob and I had many problems. lucky i had a knowledgeable mechanic disable my fob and system while replacing an ignition switch. Your car is 13 years old, is it worth the money to keep the fob if it causes problems?
