The torch my tig came with has always leaked water and the connections on the body. It uses the standard wire tie type connections and I have tried everything from trimming the line and cleaning it up and re-doing the wire ties with safety wire. Nothing seems to stop the leak.
It's leaking at the electrode/water input to the torch... the shortest line on the torch IIRC but mine has some small adapter threaded on to lenghten in to almost the length of the water out/gas in connections. There is a small amount of discoloration of the copper and from my numerous attempts to fix it i've had to pull the copper line away from its neighbors quite a bit.
I don't want to keep hacking away at the lines by trimming them as I'm almost to the point where i need to trim the other 2 to make them all even before I put the cable cover back on it. Its to the point where after 5-10 minutes of welding if i position my arm wrong i get a nice arc over through my arm when I strike an arc.
I can either pull all the lines off, clean the torch body lines and connections and try again or I can simply order another torch body for 10 dollars and start over.
Thoughts?

Well it looks like it has a threaded adapter to.convert the line to a nipple but it isn't leaking from there. every torch body i see has a threaded section where my body has an extra piece threaded on. its leaking at the nipple. Nipple isn't cracked nor is the line... i guess i need to try my safety wire pliers but they're at my dads house and that's an 60 mile round trip lol
