Icon6 Gettin_theres build thread

So ive come to a point in my life where i feel comfortable doing a complete restore to my civic. Not to mention a long list of other reasons why it should and needs to be. Mainly imperfections that really get under my skin. Also could have something to do with my license being suspended soon.

Ive already sort of begun. If you would of seen the car before and after. It looks a million times better since i got my hands on it.

CAR: 91 honda civic si ed7

Engine bay
-Stock ZC vtec (as far as i know its stock. beats every other single v/ls ive ever raced. keeps up good with b16s and GSRs. also a freinds police interceptor.)
-NGK plugs and wires
-injen cold air intake w/k&n filter
-hasport mounts
-dx tranny
-exedy clutch kit(dont know if its staged. came with the motor but i think i might be cause the clutch is really stiff)

Thanks! And yea that was just everything I could ever dream of haha. I'll get most of it tho. Just finished reading thru your build thread. Your crx is mint!

Got a few ?s
1 - where did you order new door hinges from. My doors sag and rub on the bottom of the door jam. Defiantly wanna fix that before paint!

2- did you ever figure out how to wire in the oem fog lift switch. I'd love to have one of those over a toggle switch any day

Thanks. There called diamond racing wheels. Just google em, you'll find there web site. There really cheap, like 69.99 a peice. Only down side is there extremely heavy. I weighed one of mine and it was almost 45lbs w/ tire.

15x8 0 offset with 195/50 tires. Deffinatly recommend smaller tires. Buddy of mine had 165/45s on the same size and offset and had no problems. With the 195/50 your definatly gonna need to roll/ pull fenders and camber kits if you wanna tuck. Also I heard if you get the "spun" version of there wheels there lighter by like 1/2

Did you swap your doors to 88 style?

I dont think the jdm glass will fit due to the door mounted belts.

JDM is more 88/89si style.
