Hey H-T
As I was driving my car I noticed my temperature will fluctuate to half and back down to a quarter-ish once I start driving. The fans turn on and coolant levels seem normal. Anyone point me in the right direction. Thanks

How do you KNOW the fans are turning on?

Thermostat stuck open

Also, I can tell the fans turn on because I've had the car with the hood open and waited for them to turn on. Lol

 

So check the thermostat as advised.

 

Well Finally got a chance to look around and noticed that the radiator is slightly leaking from the top. Gonna replace and hope that's what it is thanks everyone for their help.

 

leaky rads cause cooler temps hmm

 

Leaky rads let air in to the coolant syatem and can cause all kinds of false electronic readings. I would also check the thermostat. Partially clogged thermostat may have overpressurized the radiator and caused the leak.

 

I'm going to when changing the thermostat as well actually. Any thing else I should be looking at?

 

eh mine as well replace the radiator cap. it's like $5.

 

Well this radiator I bought off auto zone comes with one so that's taken care of

 

Update:
So radiator and thermostat has been change drove it from Los Angeles to Santa Barbara, about a 2 hour drive and no fluctuating temperature at all. (: Thanks to everyone that contributed. Greatly appreciated
