Default 5 SPD to automatic conversion

hey guys, as dumb as it sounds i am considering converting my 07 civic ex to automatic so the wife can drive it and we dont have to trade the car in. does anyone know everything that is needed to do this or how to do it lol. i am guessing it is going to be quite expensive and probably not even worth doing. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Auto to manual is relatively "simple" compared to going the other way.

The big issue with converting to automatic is just about every wiring harness in the car will need to be replaced, and this is a ginormous job.

spend thousands to convert to manual instead of teaching the broad how to drive. logic fail.
