Q: Do ITRs owners keep full service history of your ITRs?
I know ITR owners are a fanatic bunch. Do you guys keep a meticious full service history (ie: fully stamped service book + invoices of all work done)?
I'm contemplating getting an ITR soon, but some FS ones locally don't seem to have much history.
Coming from the Rennlist/Porsche world, FSH is always important and adds quite a lot of value to the car.
Thanks!

I keep all of my receipts, but you aren't likely to find someone that has brought their car to the dealer all of these years. These cars are so easy to work on that most of us do a lot of the work ourselves.
As long as you find a clean one with no accidents and reasonable mileage, I would buy it if it drives well and is priced properly. I guess it depends on if you are looking to race it or collect it though. I don't think you will find too many in collectible condition.

Not necessary dealer work (too $$), but independent specialists who do great work. But I do understand a lot can be DIYs.
Yep I keep receipts for all my cars. Since you are in Canada I would be looking for a mostly stock 01. Fewer owners the better and if under 100,000 KM would be nice. I would rather buy a car that has been tracked, rather than buying from some random person. At least if it's tracked there's a good chance the person maintained it well.
Of course you'd want full history on a German car. Too much stuff that goes wrong with them and too costly of repairs if something already isn't done.
However, an Integra Type R *is* a Honda after all. These cars will easily run to 100K with nothing but oil changes. And beyond that, it is well-known what service needs to happen at certain intervals.
Point being, not many are going to have detailed service records. You just don't need anything done at the dealership in the first 100K miles of ownership (if driven normally) outside of an oil change. And most of us do that ourselves because it is so dang easy to do.

I try to, but I've been lazy.
At first, I even documented when I added oil. Now, it's just the major things, like oil changes, any dealer service, and modifications.

There's an iPhone app I use to track fuel mileage and maintenance. It's called Road Trip. The app tracks fuel, mileage, location fueled, services by date, and cost.
The data is back up capable to drop box and it can export to ms excel .xls files.

I think that will help my sale price. It certainly won't hurt, I'm thinking.

I keep meticulous records of all my cars especially my R. Bought the car new back in 12/00 and always write down the date, mileage, etc of what I've done to the car.
Eh mines a drag car lol so after every dyno pass/track day fluids get changed or every couple of months I change the fluids if it's sitting
