Seeking HELP: If you've been rearended and your car was totaled...
Did you have any injuries?
What extent were your injuries?
Has the insurance Co offered a $ettlement?
Did you accept what they offered?
Did you get a Lawyer involved?
Did a Lawyer help you get more out of the $ettlement?
etc... I think you all get the jist of this.
Thanks for any helpfull info you can provide!

Sorry to hear about your knee. ...ouch...
Were you able to get more by having the Lawyer after his/her cut? Or did you end up back at the amount you were offered originally?

just out of curiosity are u trying to file a false claim or something? cus ur askign what kidn of injuries youd get form getting rear ended?

I was in a horrible rear ended accident that totaled my JRSC'ed 2001 Lude, I was luck to not be killed and I have a lawyer and are still in the process off the all the BS and a settlement has not been offered!

I had the lawyer from the start, he dicked the whole thing. I asked a friend who also is a lawyer and he said I should have got atleast 3x the amount.
My point is get a lawyer who has been around for a long time and knows vehilce accidents/laws.

NO, I'm not filing a false claim
I was recently rearended and am not sure if I should get a lawyer. As for the injury(ies) question(s)... NO, I was NOT asking "what kind"! I asked what was the extent of the injuries by anyone else who might have been rearended.

If you read that... you'll have a better understanding as to why I'm asking the above questions.

mstewar - he asked "did you get injuries", not "what injuries did you get".. I assume he's trying to decide if he should get a lawyer, based on his own injuries.

Bbasso - That sucks you only got a portion of what you should have been awarded.
I've been searching for a reputable accident lawyer in my area. I found this good lawyer with 21 years of experience and we'll probably be calling him very soon.
