Is it possible to put the LSD "gear" from a M2B4, T4, or Z4, into a say H22A1 Non-LSD tranny case?

If it is possible, what are the pros and cons of the LSD "gear" vs and pros and cons of Welding the differential?

 

Google or search will answer all of that for you. Or you want to be spoon fead?

 

first off, forums are for these such purposes.

second, I have goggled and have found that im not going to weld my diff. just a bad idea in general.

third, I haven't found many results of people putting LSD into non-LSD cases, so I asked for input here.

Dont weld the diff.
M2B4 gear wont fit non JDM LSD or USDM open diff.
M2B4 diff wont fit in a non JDM LSD Case.
