I just recieved my H22 swap, and I was wondering if I have a LSD. The tranny has a sticker that reads M2B4 followed by a few numbers. When I look through the hole where the axel is supposed to go, I can see straight through it.

Is it a good rule of thumb to assume that a tranny has a LSD, if one can see throrgh it? Or are there H22 trannies that one can see through, but doesn't have a LSD.

So I guess everyone concurs that if one can see through where the axels are supposed to be, one has a LSD.
So, if there is no LSD, there will be something blocking/covering the hole?

Your going to love the LSD. I just put mine on 2 weeks ago. Best money I have spent on the car.

no they dont, it was an option. if you didnt order it, you got lucky.

if it wasnt lsd, there would be a bar though the center...also m2b4 is the tranny code for the lsd model, plus it has really good gear ratios.
