Default Broken CV-joints

Hi there,

My 02 accord 4cyl auto has both side broken CV-joints, and my question is with broken CV-joints on both side, will it affect vehicle performance?? Decrease acceleration, speed, bad handing, or anythang???? Thank you

Are the axles "broke" or just have busted rubber boots?

When I turn the steering wheel or get thru bumper or deep, it makes loud cliking sound

they may fail at high speed and cause more damage than if you just replaced them now.

Replace ASAP, I drove on one bad axle and by the time I could fix it one of my lug nuts had snapped.

Also if you can afford it I would get axles from www.raxles.com, if not go to junk boys or autozone.

I had a CV joint go once when I was driving - well, while I was turning a corner across two busy lanes of highway traffic - damn near got hit by a big truck because it just stopped moving.

Get it fixed ASAP. If you're reasonably mechanically inclined and have a few tools half-shaft replacement isn't bad at all.
