Post 04 CR-V

my crv has been overheating only when stopped, while drive the temp gauge stays normal. i changed the thermastat and its still orverheating, theres no leaks in my radiator and anitfreez flow straight through

check the fans... hot wire it to the battery and see if it works

put your ac to the max, blast it....all your fans (radiator) should turn on automatically...if not...then you know whats up

Thanks, I turned the AC on max and both fans did turn on.

when you say overheating does it go all the way up?
and when its running the temp will be fine? usually thats a fan problem...

hopefully its not the water pump....
