F23 swap in EG, search and read before you do.
Just putting this out there.
This was/is, NOT an easy swap. There's lot's of speculation and lot's of "try this" with this swap. F23 on obd2 from 98-02 accord or odyssey van. into EG hatch or coupe on obd1.
Lot's of motor mount issues, 2 and 3 wire IACV issues, 4 wire hitachi dizzy with the external crank sensors on obd2.
Go ahead and find a wiring diagram for the f23 dizzy. That will point you down the path of complication.
Just putting it out there. This is not the same old "b16" swap. Read up, and be ready, this is not an easy swap with very little information and lot's of speculation. Just be ready, that's all I'm saying.

It is pretty common info that putting a F or H series into a Civic is not the easiest swap and there are clearnace, wiring and mount issues. Its not like putting a B Series into a Civic.
Swap the crappy head for an f22a6 head so you can use your stock harness and use the h23 intake manifold plus you get a better flowing head. Nonvtec obd1 d series dizzy bolts up perfect. extend your alt wires. Buy the Qsd h2b kit so you can use all your b series mounts, tranny, and linkages. Relocate map sensor so you can close your Hood. Grab a beer and celebrate your new setup. Cheers.
It was hard the first time i had put the f20b motor in my four door eg took me a week making everything right. Overall the swap is easier to do when you know what your doing with wiring and converting the obd2 motor to obd1. I had an f20b an f22 and an f23 and g22 vtec in my civic within the past year. The swap is very easy now for me to do now but to start from scratch like cutting the shifter hole to fit the cables and the passenger mount is a bitch.

I'd love to just use the 4-wire hitachi dizzy and run some wires, but can't find a diagram for it anywhere.

well when you look at the d series dizzy you have to know what is the no.1 piston i had that problem at first but then i opened the dizzy and found out my wiring was wrong. I have a d series dizzy right now on my setup works great it also has h22 coil and ingition control module in it they swap right out. My setup is f22 block f20b pistons and f23 head runs beautiful.
