99 si driver side axle
Hey guys,
let me start off by apologizing if this question is too noob or stupid.
( b16a, lsd transmission)
I have been watching videos on replacing cv axles. Most of them show the passenger side and say the process for removing is the same on the driver side. The passenger side the axle is hooked up straight the transmission, when I looked on mine, on the driver side, the axle was linked to another metal rod. I could not remove it. Is there any " special way" to remove it?
Thanks

your talking about the intermediate shaft "other metal rod"
yes they do come apart the same way as the other side just use a large screw driver between the cast mount that goes to the engine block and the inner cv joint it will pop off its only held in place by a snap ring inside just like the other side
they can be a bit stubourne but they are the same
