Default CEL comes on and temp gauge starts rising-92 Si

this seems to only happen on longer drives that are all thruway (30+ mins). the CEL will come on and shortly after, if not at the same time, my temp gauge begins to rise. turning on the heat full blast will slowly bring the temp down. when i get where ever im going i turn the car off, and then back on and the CEL is gone. checked it while the car was running and it flashed 11, which i cant find a code for. the flashes are to close to each other to be 10(in air temp sensor) and 1(o2 sensor)

any ideas as to why this is happening? car has been fine the last 2500 miles or so since the build.

d16z6 with srp pistons(~9:1cr), eagle rods, acl race bearing, arp bolts/studs.

i am trying to get everything figured out before i put my turbo setup on and take it for a tune because a turbo is just going to add more heat to the system.

Its definantly not 2 unless you mean 2 different codes. Its one long flash and then one very short code.

I recently learned that code 11 indicates engine overheating for certain engine management systems. Fix the overheating problem and code 11 will be gone.

That's what I was thinking after I couldn't find anything on code 11. Any ideas on where to start? I'm going to start with bleeding the system again. Its been about 2500 miles or more since I build the engine and this just started happening. Possibly a random air bubble that worked its way through the system?

Thanks

I'd say replace the thermostat and then bleed the cooling system. Then go from there.
