Default j swap people i need sum help!!!

i have a 93 civic hatch with a complete 03 j32a2 type s manual swap including ecu..is what im told... it runs and drives is currently my daily but heres the problem it has a rywire conversion harness but my tach is off and my speedometer isnt working.. no vtec ecu is in limp mode the engine wont rev out all the way and the engine has to crank for like 10 seconds to start. it doesnt appear to be hacked at all and the speed sensors have wires running to them and they are plugged into the ecu. i am told its probably still in limp mode due to no vss? and that would be why their is no vtec correct? some help would be awesome i am mechanically inclined and wiring is my specialty i just dont know where to wire the stuff everything i have checked seems to be ok.

there aren't many people around that know about J swaps. you should check the ECU and see if it has any error codes.

you used the same engine harness from the motor and transmission right? i have a j32a2 in my eg hatch but a friend of mine did the wiring sounds to me like you need to contact rywire, i also have the long starting times and put in a walbro 255 fuel pump but it didnt really help the only thing i found that would make it start faster is turning the key over a couple times to prime the fuel system
