Yesterday i was doing a trial run around hear in my county. I had a long trip planned this weekend
and drove about 85 miles yesterday and luckly the radiator busted when it did and not like 100 miles into
the trip.i think the radiator didnt bust till i was close to my house i think. so thats a good thing.
i have a b20b with a y21 transmission and thats **** revs crazy high like 4000 and 80mph so i guess the pressure rised in the radiator and bam that **** busted. my question is do you think i warped my head driving like maybe 4/5 of the way up on the temperture gauge for about 7 miles tops could be way way less i saying worse case senerio

yikes, why didnt you stop driving if you knew the rad was gone?
Aluminum heads only take a second to warp.

was there any oil in your coolant or coolant in your oil?

 

Blast the heater when that **** happens, helps minimally.

 

All the way up, to the very top of the gauge? or like 3/4 up? 4/5 is not registering with me.

Sometimes if the radiator busts at the top seam it will not leak a lot of coolant, just puddle out, where did it break?

 

i did a compression test 135 135 135 137ish. does that mean im good??? i did a pressure test on my radiator and it started squrting out the front like on the aluminium part so i changed it. but yall think im good with thoses reading? i hear that 190 is good and even 220 so idk if my b20 is ****ed up or just real low??? tell what yall think?

the coolant was thick but it didnt see any oil i really didnt check damn

 

Your head should be fine, but it probably wouldn't hurt to flush your coolant system and do an oil change.

 

thanks bro yea when i put the new radiator it only fit about 3/4 gallon and it was full i guess other coolant still stuck in engine
