So I just moved and had to get an emissions test. Well I failed the test because my check engine light doesn't come on when you turn the key to accessory. Is the ECU my problem? Or is it just the bulb behind the cluster that is burnt out?

 

if your car is running,i dont think it would be the ecu.i was just discussing this problem with somebody else..
hopefully they will step in..

Sure don't

 

have you tried replacing the bulb?could be the problem,but i would want to know if you even have voltage to the bulb..

 

Going to change the bulb tomorrow and see if it fixes it.
