Default Need Wiring help for 95 Civic Hatch brake lights

I tried to read through the FAQ section, and didn't see anything about this, so hopefully someone can help me out here.

I have a 1995 Honda Civic Hatch and my brake lights are inop. I have already checked all the fuses, bulbs, ect and I have made sure everything is plugged in correctly. They started not working a week ago. Before that, everything worked just fine. I washed the car, and after that they haven't worked. I'm running out of ideas to what could be the problem.

The wierd thing about it is my parking lights still work just fine. Everything turns on like it should, except for the brake lights.

Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

How did you test the fuse? Which fuse did you test?

Pulled the #19 fuse, tested with multi meter. Then pulled every other fuse to double check everything.

So I just checked it with a volt meter. I'm not getting power fron the fuse block underneath the hood to the brake light switch. If we put power to the brake lights, the lights light up. I don't get it :/

The fuse for the brake lights is 20A hood fuse #42.

Is fuse 42 blown?

Describe exactly what you did and what happened.
