91 integra weird fuel pump???
okay
so i have a 91 ls with 160xxx and i keep now and then haveing this weird starting problem....
What happens is my car starts when cold runs fine it harms up and then ill stop at a gas station or some were turn on the car a no start
relays come on, BUT FUEL PUMP DOES NOT PRIME ENOUGH FUEL.2nd try same as first but no fuel pump prime ...light does come on(check engine) but no prime niose is heard??3rd time same .....4th PRIMES! starts ...then stalls 5th or 6th starts up and runs like normal with a prime! this is weird the fuel pump works cause i go right down the road no prob....not on a hill or anything?its something with the pump or ??? plz help? ALSO this happends in cycles like every 50 start ups or so?? thank you for thanking your time and trying to help me

check the pgm-fi sensor by the main relay under the dash..
prime the fuel pump like 5-6 times before starting when it gives you the problem,if it helps,your fuel pump is probably weakening..

thanks and i appreciate that!take your relay out and open it up.look around at the solder points and if there are little rings in the solder,then the relay has suffered from overheating and will continue to give problems as the temperature in the car changes..
well, dont know about honda ignition switches but have had that problem with an s-10. all functions and lights came on truck turned over no pump, sometimes. replaced switch and it never did it again.

It is harder and takes longer to get the PGM-FI Main Relay out of the car, [easier on a G2 then a G3] then it is to fix it.
