Del sol b18 with b16 trans - Is there a reason I blew my axle?
Give more details:
Correct axle for set up?
Age of axle at failure?
What do you consider a blown axle?
Transmission damage?
Pictures?
Any other relevant information about car?

It's the right axle for setup. It was only 5 months old from autozone. And I was on expressway going to pass someone. I was on the gas a little and car just free revved and wouldn't move anymore. Runs but doesn't move. I only had a little time to look at it but the boot closest to the transmission was ripped in half and axle was sloppy

Axle is not out of the differential. And when you even put the car in first it rolls back and it shouldn't do that. Wtf and I installed it lol
Axle was probably the wrong length and bound up.
Protip: When replacing axles with crappy remans, hell when replacing axles period put the new axle next the old axle on the ground and examine them closely, make sure the new axle is the same as the old one because often enough they aren't.

I had a d series before so I went to a b series and didn't have axles. So I got del sol vtec ones since it is a b16 so I'm pretty sure it wasn't the wrong axle
