Whatever you buy will neither be an EG or an EK. It'll be either an EJ1, EJ2, EJ4, EJ6, or EJ8. You should buy which ever one suits your needs and wants better. We don't know you, we don't know what you want, we don't know what you'll use the car for. It's your car and your money - make your own decision.
My first car was an EG hatch.. Immaculate shape. Milano Red Civic Si.. I still miss it. I always wanted an EK hatch, but never really desired having one after my Integra pretty much being complete.
Go with the best deal man!

Eg front end wins all day but that's an opinion and is why ure catching flak.
Look at the cars and decide what body bstyle you want first. Eg or ek. Then decide what trim level you want. An ex trim will usually have Power options, cruise control, sunroof vtec equipped.
Power options will be harder to fix though if something goes wrong.

How can it be neither.... On this reasoning this forum section should be renamed..

So now that ignorance is out of the equation in this thread...
Honda Civic/Del Sol (1992 - 2000). That's the name of the forum section. Honda-Tech > Honda and Acura Model Specific Forums > Honda Civic/Del Sol (1992-2000). I don't see a chassis code anywhere in that.

EG/EK Civics Discussion
That is what is on the home page but none of that really matters. This isn't a tech question and none of us (I don't think) are physics. Get whatever one you like better?
OP this is something you'll have to figure out on your own. The chassis are similar enough that you can almost base your decision around which chassis you think looks better.
