i was on the track yesterday and going around the corner and the car cut out and wouldnt start. didint hear the fuel pump , so thought main relay . when got towed back to the pits

swapped in a buddies main relay didint do anything . no fuel pump still . put in his ecu and nothing again . checked the grounds on the valve cover tranny and the thermostat

all fine and nothing still . checked fuses seem fine .

its a 95 del sol with gsr

please if anyone has any ideas pretty lost here

 

Double check fuses 31 and 24.

 

i dont have the diagram in the car but from the honda tech thread and looks like it only goes up to 25 ?

looks like on the diagram 15 n 24?

so went and switched those fuses they are totally fine and still no power

 

Look for fuse diagrams in the FAQs sticky (Electrical section 17a). Check fuses 31 and 24.

ECU fuse my buddy must of missed the fuse when he tested it but i spent 2 mins and looked tonight and boom there was the blown fuse. starts right up .

hes saying they all had the power at the ecu but i changed the fuse and its running now

what could cause this thats the next question

 

Fuses do go bad just like anything else.. A loose ground could have caused it.. You said all your grounds were ok though.. but im just putting that out there. If it goes bad again soon then you have a issue somewhere.
