Fuel pump not priming
Hey guys I'm having a problem with my 93 civic, again the fuel pump is not priming up right away and so far I have changed the distributor, swapped in a known working ecu, new fuel pump, fuel filter and main relay. The problem is still present can someone please help again thanks.

Re: Fuel pump not priming
Fuse 24 has your PGMFI circuit on it which the main relay is part of. When you pull the main relay it breaks the circuit so the fuse doesn't receive current and can't blow out. Start tracing wires to and from your fuel pump and main relay then into the engine bay until you find a short.

Re: Fuel pump not priming
Hey guys I found a wire on the pump that I had broke when I installed it fixed it plug everything back in fuel pump primed right up fine after that. The next morning started up fine but after my gf drove it for like 10 minutes then went back out she said it took a couple seconds to prime up but then it started fine after that. Now this morning it took about 10 minutes this morning to start up and it hasn't started up since. I have checked fuses 24 and 31 both good and I have swapped in a known good exu.i can hear the main clicking I have spark but yet again the fuel pump won't cut on. Any ideas?

Re: Fuel pump not priming
I just went through a very similar situation with my fuel pump. If the pump is new check if its warrantied and get a new pump. It fixed my problem.
