I was just making sure bc i have been told different so i have another question will an ecu that worked witha turbo mit on a d16a6 work on the same kit for my d16y7 sorry if i sound ignorant.

 

Not correctly, you might be able to use it but get it tuned RIGHT AWAY!

All these questions are easy to answer if you did the research.

And anyone that wants to give me grief because I'm not just answering his questions needs to stay out of it. Boost should NEVER be spoonfed. You HAVE to research so you understand what you are doing. I could tell you something, and how would you know that what I tell you is garbage?

 

I wouldn't even TRY to say that it would work. He gave absolutely no info on what the ECU even is. It could be a basemap on a chip or an ECU that was run with a VAFC hack. Or maybe a STOCK ECU that was used with a Missing Link and an FMU.

 

QFT. Do your homework before boosting; otherwise, you're just inviting problems.

From my experience, very few people actually know anything about turbo setups. I wouldn't blindly follow anyone else's advice (aside from ours of course )
