I would recommend you giving the motor a "freshin" up. Replace the rod bearins, and checkout the wear on the sleeves. Ive lost two engines to high milage, both over 120,000 miles...both spun the rod bearings.

Also how the engine was treaded in the past, and how you took care of it makes a big difference. My old stock motor at 100,000 miles, the cyl walls looked NEW. They still had the cross-hatch pattern on the sleeves!! Amazing.

So give the engine a looking over..inspect the rod bearings, and the rings. No use boosting on an engine thats going to blowup in a 1000 miles.

the way the car was cared for previously is a major concern when force inducting a high mileage car. make sure to atleast get a 30k mile tuneup, replace your timing belt/water pump if you already havent, and a compression check wont hurt either. need more info before i ramble on. basically, if the car was treated good and all maintenance was done previously, you should be ok.
