I have a 99 GSR with a greddy turbo kit and intercooler and the stock clutch did a good job of putting up with the abuse for a couple months but is now giving up. Any of you guys have any advice (good or bad) on which clutch set up to go with??

Be alittle more specific on what type of driving you do (drag, road race, auto x, ect.) what type of power your putting down and other details and maybe someone could help you out

 

My car is a daily driver that doesn't see much track time but does see plenty of boost on a daily basis. In running .65 bar and puttin out around 250 HP

 

Does anyone have any suggestions or want to share their current set-up???

I use an ACT extreme and fidanza flywheel.. Love the setup. I am putting out another 100hp than you though...

 

What set-up are you running? I haven't had mine dyno'd yet but im guessing it won't be much more that 250-280 for me.

 

I like my ACT extreme pressure plate with a street disk. It makes the clutch pedal a lot tougher but in return it grabs with authority.

After a month of daily driving you'll get used to the clutch pedal and then it's all gravy.

Also, what part of California are you from? If it's near San Diego I can give you a test drive, to see for yourself.

I like the good old ACT extreme with performance street disc and CM flywheel. Good streetable combo that holds the power.
