About the tires - Please
My car : 99 Accord V6
On the tires I read the size is "P205/ 65 R15", they're going bad.
My brother giving me a set of 4 Michelin "P235/ 65 R16" with 95% good condition. Will these tires fit on my car' rims?
What's the best way to use these tires on my car?
Thank you so much for you advices.

Very quick question that, My 02 accord with Kowig rim R17. On the tire said 44psi max, and door panel with cold 30psi. Therefore, how much pressure should I inflate to my tire?? Right now it is 34psi for 4 tires. Thanks
44psi max means the absolute maximum pressure the tires are rated for is 44psi - not to inflate them to that. Follow the door's guidelines. And 30psi cold means let the car sit overnight and then check first thing in the morning. That doesn't mean drive it for 30 minutes and then stop by the gas station, the tires will have heated up by that point.

Lots of useful info on TireRack.com
Watch the tire pressure and observe how the tire wears.
Under normal driving tire wear can be optimized to wear evenly. Underinflated or aggressive cornering will wear the edges. Overinflated will wear the center of the tire out.
The door tag is the factory cold setting for optimum overall performance for NVH, fuel economy, handling, and wear. Tweak this setting to your own personal driving style and demands(grip, fuel economy, NVH, tire wear).

Tire stuff is very easy...especially after working for a tire store for awhile.
The first number refers to the width from side to side in millimeters. The second number is the ratio and the final number is the rim diameter.
So, a 195/65/15 for example is 195 millimeters wide, 65% sidewall height of the width of the tire, and 15 inches in diameter.
As others have stated, the psi on the tire is the MAX pressure level and should NEVER be exceeded. The BEST time to check tire pressure is in the morning after the vehicle has sat overnight. The sticker on the drivers side door area or trunk will say what the tire pressure should be. I am supposed to be 32 psi according to Honda but I run 35 PSI in both sets of my wheels.
ALSO - The treadwear rating that tire makers put on tires is NOT a good way to measure tire life. There is NO mandated basis for treadwear. So a 400 on a Bridgestone and a 400 on a Good year will NOT be the same. You can ONLY use the numbers to compare tires of the same maker.
