Default Worn front end do I need after market camber kit?

So my 1992 acura integra has 372000km on the body and clearly parts are pretty worn. But i took it to a local shop to get an alignment and they told me the front end was so worn out that i need an after market camber kit and something else (control arms i think) to align it. If this is true what do you think would be my best bet skunk 2?

o no...let the arguements begin. Basically the story is that you never NEED camber kits. Toe is what kills tires not camber. I decided personally to get a camber kit though for mine (hardrace) because I want my tires to be completely even on the road. personal decision for my ride.

Then replace the worn parts. Don't buy aftermarket parts. And find a new mechanic, since he's either trying to sell you something you don't need or force a more expensive alignment due to the aftermarket parts. Either way, he's trying to pull more money out of you for no gain to you.

231k miles on the car. Inspect bushings, tie rod ends, ball joints, and bearings, and replace as needed. Most if not all of those parts are well worn by now.

Why would you try to cover up the problem rather than fix what is worn. I think you need a better mechanic!!!

Camber kit as previously mentioned is not needed. Some negative camber can actually improve the handling characteristic of a car.

I have the same thing on my db8 (100k miles)

They said my front spring is worn (I have -1.5 camber) on front passenger wheel. Stock hight.

So whats really causing the camber problem? Top ball joint? Car is stock hight I don't see how the spring can cause this problem (it don't look like its sagging)

Sounds like a perfect chamber IMO!!! I am -1.5ish all around Unless you have a chamber kit the only way I see the chamber changing is by the height. Measure from the top of your wheel well to the top of the center cap to see if there is a difference in height.

Worn bushings could do it. So could a bent chassis (hopefully not the case).

As mentioned, no camber kit needed, but at almost 400K I would do the whole front end, if it moves it is worn out, replace it.

Not sure if I would just do what looks/feels worn out, if ball joints. tierod ends and bushings don't seem bad now, it will not be long before they are, and you will have to replace anything you do not replace now, pretty soon.

If you plan on keeping the car for some time, bite the bullet and do it all now. 94
