Icon2 HELP with 89 Civic Si B18b1 swap!!!

I have a 89 Civic Si and the motor recently died after a long problematic existence. I am looking at getting a B18b1 ls swap from a 96 Integra. I think im going to buy new B series axles, motor mounts, and shift linkage from hasport. I understand that it is an OBD2 motor, but I have no idea how I am going to wire it or whatever. I need to know what else I will need to make it work.

The swap includes (and all is from a 96 Integra):
  • B18b1 engine
  • Axles
  • ECU
  • OEM tranny
  • Motor mounts
  • Shift linkage

THERE IS NO HARNESS INCLUDED

Use your stock harness and adapt it to the distributor plugs then the rest is cake.

Take out the old motor. Put the old parts (ecu, distributor) onto the b18b and your done. You will only need to modify the fan switch since it will now be located on the thermostat housing and not the back of the block

No need for modification to the as to you have a mpfi Si civic. Take old motor out with harness and then plug every wire on harness to new motor keep the firewall map sensor, get you a ls dizzy obd1 or obd0 and get you a ls ecu phearble.net is your friend they sell any extra adapter harness' if you go obd1 and a jumper harness for obd1 ecu. You need to extend a couple wires and install motor. Obd1 injectors from junk yard with pins and use the search bar at the top there are plenty of write ups for this swap. O and if you can a wagon traction bar to clear your headers or you will be cutting.

Is this what you're using? http://www.rywire.com/catalog/obd0-m...kage-p-69.html

Would you have a link to this thread? I have found ones that go over the OBD1 ls swap, but not OBD2.

Don't do obd2 go obd1. Get obd1 dizzy and some obd1 injectors with the pig tails from local pick and pull most of the time they are free......lol......order the obd0-obd1 dizzy plugs (I usually make mines) wire in the injectors wire for wire and order a phearable.net po5 with a obd0-obd1 jumper harness.....and go run a couple cars on the weekend!

Hey josh. Take it from me. You're going to need a camber kit aswell for the front. The spindles are longer, causing positive camber by about 1.5 degrees

How would this effect my camber? What does it come out looking like?

And I think i have everything planned out. Tell me if I'm missing anything.

- Full B18b1 with stock tranny or B16 tranny
-Hasport axles, motor mounts, shift linkage, and cable to hydro tranny conversion
-Rywire conversion kit stuff
-Phearable.net OBD1 ECU chipped w/ Neptune
-Some professional tuning to make it work right

Camber kits are not needed. Its been discussed, theres a thread started here somewhere regarding camber kits being a gimmick
