Default shifter review

I am in the market for a new shifter other than OEM, I previously used a B&M dual bend shifter with a 5" extension and OEM ITR ****, I ended up snapping the shifter right at the spot where the extender was threaded to. main problem I had and did not noticed it until the shifter was broken is there was too much up and down play in the shifter due to worn out pivot housing bushing.
I am looking into buying another B&M with a different design, the one that comes with its own mount and is straight. any thoughts on it? anything better that works with a OEM **** linkage?

Used that on a clients car. Feels good.

Though what we use is the oem typer shifter and linkage. Oem quality shortshift.

Why not go directly for t1/gforce shifter? Though it doesnt use the oem linkage anymore.

not everyone has an extra thousand dollars laying around for a shifter, not to mention, it would not even be favorable to daily drive a car with solid mounts. ive done it before and it sucks.

to the OP, get an integra dual bend shifter and call it a day

I agree, Ive tried many different brands of short shifters and the oem type r/gsr always worked the best for me and more forgiving on the trans.

But now I have the whole t1/gforce setup and wont go back .

now that I have that shifter, if i was to ever build another honda street car (but im not) it would still have this shifter in it. I do understand budgets, but that's where patience comes in and being able to save for the part thats gonna work the first time and you dont have to look back. Im only speaking off my personal experience with my GSR shifter. I just like this Gforce shifter. I like the stiffness and how it throws the stick back center.

sounds like a great shifter, one day I will be back in the US, and I will probably try one, but for now, just something simple that works.

rebirth. after looking at my replies I think its funny that I am currently using this shifter and scha setup with a Gforce dog box, and it feels better with the stock tranny.
