Many of you who were @ Vir North this weekend with NASA may have seen two RX7's get destroyed, well those cars Belonged to Kent and Mark Stewart, Brothers, apprently one went off and came back on the track, and they other decided to do some product testing for Kirk Racing, and tee-boned the other. Since they need to rebuild 2 racecars. They have built the cages in several ECHC cars and he is building my new one as we speak.

 

Mark tests his own work a little too often. Four years ago he blew his left rear tire exiting turn 2 at Roebling Road. It was ugly. The car rolled at least 2, maybe 3 times. Mark emerged with nothing more than bruises on his shoulders from the harness.
The roof of the car, as veiwed from the outside, had the imprint of the halo of the cage in it. Car was totalled.

Very, very good stuff.

Mark and Kent were both fine after this accident, one car was able to drive back to the padock, the other... the one that did the t-boneing... well lets jsut say you can tell that the roll cage in the other car defintaly held up.

Mark is a hugh supported of Nasa, he loves racing with NASA and supporting NASA in a big way, do call them and say the magic words and see what happens.
