newbie here with b16b question
what are some of the pros and cons of the b16b ctr engine. any info is appreciated

They sell the B18B for $4,200.00
They sell the B18C5 or JDM ITR swap for $4,800.00
They sell the JDM GS-R (SiR-G) swap for $3,300.00
Why did I throw in that last one?
Because the JDM GS-R motor has 10.6:1 CR, 180hp, and the torque and midrange would beat the **** out of the B16B.
The B16B is a toqueless wonder - it'll make you wonder why you spent $900.00 more on it when you could have had a cheaper, quicker JDM GS-R B18C motor instead.

The ITR swap is definately worth the extra money over the B16B though.

b16's are something that everyone has
good for turbo and all motor set up
all in all it is a good strong motor!
i have one and i love it.

It`s a pretty stupid choice when you can get a b18c5 for the same price.

any motor can be boosted, just because some company makes a turbo kit for it does not mean its GOOD to boost it

Your analness(sp) is making my head hurt. I didn't say it was better Tom, just "fine" to turbo. Go on about your business...I'm not trying to prove the C5 to be shitty or anything, I was just stating a point. I agree the C5 would be the best motor to choose from.

I'd take the B18C GS-R over the B16b still y0!
yeah i already know that the itr engine is superior i just wanted to know if someone was hell bent on doing the ctr swap, what would be some of the pros and cons
