Default Si hatch build

This is finally and officially a build....as some would call it. Some of yall already seen some of these pics...more to come

History:
Bought this car in March 2011. Bouncy as ****. Overheating. But pretty clean body. I blew the engine around end of April lol trying to get to wok asap. Lets say i was able to walk back home and miss work lol. I lost the title moving to my girlfriends apartment (wife now) and it wasnt even under the previous owners name. Nor the three people before him -___- so till this day, its still untitled lol. I deployed in July, and while deployed, checked Craigslist everyday until i came across a Poor-mans Type R. The guy told me it was a legit and real Type R swap. It was bullshit...and now its a Mystery Motor (as i call it) I'm on my way home and after talking to a few enthusiasts, i decided to mildly rebuild it so I KNOW whats in my car. Pics are from day 1 all the way to current day.

Day 1

Day ? lol Cleaned the engine

Day ?

Day? POS was rotting while i was deployed

Bought some Enkei 92s but didnt like the gold on yellow look

Bought the swap and had a shop install it since i was still deployed

February R&R
Purchased Bisimoto Header and CF Intake. Cleaned the bay up a bit

Only 2 weeks of R&R and i had it quickly painted half assed

Just Purchased from Trackstardisibutors.com
CP 12:5:1 Pistons
Eagle Rods
Cosworth Bearings
Supertech Valves
Supertech Valve Guides
Supertech Dual Springs
Supertech Retainers
Skunk2 Camshafts
Skunk2 Gears
ARP Head Studs

So there it is...Hoping to make around 180-220 hp...any more recommendations or comments? All feedback is appreciated. Before people say it, i know its a piece of **** honda.

I like the work so far. I think i would have done something about that engine bay while your were doing the swap though. Nice work though.

It's your car dude so however you want the engine bay it's all you but i think it looks best when it matches the exterior. What wheels do you have on it currently? If you want to change them out sell them to me they look awesome on there xD.

theyre DR44s...i dont want them...brand new actually less than 30 miles on them and the tires are toyo 195/50/15 i think. i gotta check the exact...i might post the wheels and the internals of this engine here. im completely rebuilding it so rods, pistons, valves, everyhting internal basically is gonna be for sale used.

washed and waxed, new bike rack but might end up selling it

painted the inside of the fenders blue to match so no more yellow. also painted the tranny and block to match. just little touch ups here and there to make it presentable

No not unregistered faget. In case youve never had to deal with a deployment youd understand that papers get lost when moving cities and moving out of the country. I just settle things with the state of New Mexico and now have my plates. And i love it the way it is now. You didnt build it nor put up with the number of electrical and mechanical problems its given me the past two years ive had this. Thank you very much for your bump though. I know over 1200 people who give me props for what its come so far.

So you're saying it was nicer, when it had the single slammer, and yellow paint job? Huh....

Think it looks better now than ever. Just finish the bay and it'll be a quality build. Nice arc intake too btw. Keep it up. Let the haters hate.

that yellow paint FYI had fucken glitter. previous owner was a chick. The green bay is glittered too. Think i wanna roll around like that? lol thanks for the compliments. Whether their good or bad, doesnt matter. End of the day, its in my garage, and keys are in my nightstand. Really looking forward to getting rid of the BWR stuff and start loading this with skunk 2 and hoping to get certified. Or spoon the **** outta this
