I was hoping that someone on here can help me get a code for the oem integra radio I bought it from a junkyard for $5 I'm to cheap to get a aftermarket for my beater civic so got just got a cd deck for an integra and the acura dealership will not give me the code because I have no proof of ownership

Go back another time. They haven't made the car for what 11 years.. That code is to keep people from steeling them back in 98 lol. Did you ask for a manager, not that it would help but sounds like your dealership is awful proud of a $5 cd player.

just call another one, doesn't have to be local. I bought a cd player in the market place, when I got it I called the dealer in NC where I used to live they asked for the serial # then gave me the code

 

yeah my local junkyards dont give receipts but i'll try a different one tomorrow

Ok I got it over the phone from a acura dealer 2hrs away from me all they asked was for the serial number nothing else I dont know why my local dealership made it so hard and the code was 55251

Are you still able to get radio codes? I bought a 1999 TL off a towing company and they don't have the code. I was surprised they had a key with the Acura logo on it. Anyways the serial is B90131363. Thanks.
