I got this CD player from a friend who pulled it out of his 98 integra when he bought an MP3 player. We went to the dealer and got the code. I've had it for about 5-6 months, but i lost the piece of paper with the code.
So last week I did a motor swap and it got reset. I need that code again, so i called Acura but they wouldn't give it to me. They said I need a proof of ownership (makes sense). But I don't have that, and my friend moved back to Europe and doesn't own that car any more... What do I do? Is there any way to get the code?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Its going to be kinda hard with no proof of ownership. Its pretty much the same rule as cutting a key for someone, you have to see some sort of registration, title, etc.
