what up guys, got a 96 jdm GSR in my EK and i am in the process of geting it B.A.R.'d, i have a and erratic rpm idle while the throttle is depressed and held at a constant (any) rpm, ex. 3000k it will bog down 300-500 rpm's and then slowly come back up to rpm??? checked for vacuum leaks holding a steady 20-22hg, coolant system is not air bound, new o2 sensors, no CEL, grounds are good, timing is on point to 16.?? any and all help plz

 

Have you checked the air idle control on the throttle body?

 

yes i have checked theTPS and IAC, im waiting for a fog machine to come in and im going to fog my intake manifold to see if its 100%, ***** been really bugging me im just .30 over my HC on my smog to get a b.A.R. sticker.....

 

I had the exact problem where it would fluctuate 3-400 rpm's two weeks ago and it turned out being a small crack in the vacuum tube for the fuel pressure regulator. I would double check your vacuum lines.

no vaccum leak, im starting to wonder if it could be the ECU? i bought it off craigslist from some guy, he said it was a 96 gsr would the year for the ecu matter?
