Default oil control orifice Q's

Here's the story. Had a burnt valve on a B18c1 engine, so I pulled the head off the car to replace them. Took the head to a shop to get it hot tanked, then slapped it back on with help a buddy. Forgot to check if the oil control orifices were on the head. I know there's 3 of them.
1. What I want to know is if it's possible for my car to run without the orifices on the head? When I got it back from the shop I didn't check if they were there. Car's been driven 2500+ miles since, but just want to ask because I don't want to mess up the engine.
2. I know the one on the block is there because I never pulled out the block, but I didn't replace the o rings on block and head(since I'm not sure if they are there or not). Would not replacing it affect anything?

Help me out HT!
