Default Getting a jerking feeling while accelerating and constant speed

I get three symptoms.
I get a heavy jerk, almost feels like a miss, under heavy acceleration in first and second gear.
The second symptom is at 62mph I get a feeling that something is hitting the front suspension with a hammer. Just the feeling no noise. I get a slight jerk there too. Very subtle though.
The third is when the suspension is understress, any stress, I get a click. Just a single click, not a cv joint clicking noise.

I hit a big bump about 6 months back and it has been doing this ever since then. Before I hit that bump if I went 62mph I would get shaking in the steering wheel. No where else.

What could it be?

Its not a miss because the electrical system is new and was fine before I hit the bump.

My front one is ripped a bit. I don't want to ***** nilly replace that if that could not possibly be the problem.

replacing the mount will help in the hammer problem. your engine is rocking back and forth. probably hitting something even if it doesn't sound like it and not a good thing for your axles ether.

that'll be one problem fixed at least.

Sounds like possibly a bad wheel bearing/s. You could first start by verifying all bolts are tight on your radius rods, control arms, cross-members, ect...

Could be a suspension bushing or ball joint, and possibly that motor mount. This video... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=scFbb...eature=related at about 6 minutes, do that stuff and check for loose suspension stuff. You can put a jack under your engine on the tranny or oil pan and just jack up the engine a little bit and watch that front mount, it should be obvious if its bad it shouldn't move much. if it the engine goes up and the mounts clunk and dont have any resistance you may need to replace one or two..

I will definitely do this. Thanks for places to check. I will have to check anything that would be related to a clutch change, and an axle change. I tried dry steering it and it did click when I was turning the wheel.

I was wondering if it was causing excesss strain on my axles causing them to possibly bind...but i don't know.

Alright I will have to try that sometime. Thanks.

I actually posted something similar in his forum. I will have to re-watch the video.

what about a tie rod end?
